Honda CR-Z updated
As a leading motor company Honda has launched some of the top rated sports utility and sports version cars ever known. One among their legend launch is Honda CR-Z, it is the next generation lightweight sports car equipped with Honda’s original gas-electric hybrid system which achieves both clean performance and a high level of torque. CR-Z stands for Compact Renaissance Zero an expression intended to capture the idea of a renaissance in the design of compact cars that begins anew from fundamentals. The key words for the CR-Z’s interior design are Hi-tech and Sporty. The goal was to create an all-new sporty interior that fuses the liberating feel of airy spaciousness with an advanced interface that brings out the fun of driving. The new hybrid will have a 140-horsepower, 1.8-liter, single overhead cam i-VTEC engine which comes from the Civic and would be much bigger and more powerful than most current hybrid gasoline engines.

Technology upgrades include LED door handle lighting, new connectivity for the rear passengers to the 12-inch screens mounted on the “picnic tables” at the back, newly positioned switches for the air conditioning, audio and electric windows in a wood panel on the rear doors, as well as new bi-directional reading lights hanging from the C-pillar to keep the rear passenger who likely owns the car.A new light alloy V12-engine of 6.749 cc capacity was shoe-horned into the engine bay. Thanks to four valves per cylinder the engine produced 460 hp (338 KW). It was necessary though – because no turbocharger was installed – to rev up to more than 5,300 rpm to gain peak power. Such a level hadn’t found acceptance with Rolls-Royce previously and might be one reason for the special 2-phase-exhaust system, which employed a device to shut a valve at low rpm thus bringing down the exhaust note to an inaudible hustle. A six-speed automatic gearbox transferred power to the rear axle. Air springs on all four wheels provided a cosseting ride. Automatic level control was part of the system, too.
