The New Moto Guzzi Griso 1100 wonderfully embodies the European-style custom motorcycle. Squat and very long but with a riding position typical of a roadster, this motorcycle aims to be as well adapted to cruising on the motorway as to sharper riding on winding little roads, or just a ride around town. The impressive upside-down fork and rear shock absorber are both fully adjustable. DElivering 88 bhp, the engine clearly retains the traditional Moto Guzzi architecture (longitudinal 90–degree V twin) but the gearbox and shaft drive notably has been completely redesigned while the electronic fuel injection helps it make through the Euro-3 norms.

Continuing the legacy of the legendary Ninja ZX12-R, is Kawasaki’s new NinjaZX14-R. Powering the bike is a 1352cc ram air, fuel-injected engine, which is also Kawasaki’s most powerful ever. This all new in-line four cylinder unit is an evolution of the engine that has made the Ninja ZX-12R such a joyful experience. Following an over square layout or 84mm bore against 61mm stroke, the units packaged into a purposefully designed compact outline that minimizes engine width. Further, it’s only past 6000rpm when the motor really comes into its on. But having said that, the torque distribution is so marvelous that pulling away is possible at any speed, and in any gear. The engine uses a secondary balancer to tame unwanted vibrations, and a direct-actuation shift lever is lighter than conventional linkage-type set-pus, offering a more direct feel for the rider. The ZX-14’s chassis design too is an advanced version of Kawasaki’s unique aluminum monochrome frame, which is both lightweight and very strong. This sophisticated approach gives the ZX-14 responsive handling and incredible highway stability. Inherently more rigid than twin-spar frames, and with the engine rigid than twin-spar frames, and with the engine rigid-mounted the monocoque’s strength is greatly increased.

The newest version is better than the original Tesi 1D, mainly because the air/oil-cooled desmo engine is the right tool for the job, and the Double System air shocks front and rear deliver more compliance and control than the 1D’s conventional Oehlins hardware. Free of the weight and bulk of the previous eight-valve desmo V-twin, the new-generation 2D is smaller, shorter, lighter and refreshingly agile. Propelling its 339 pounds (dry) with 77 rear-wheel horsepower, the Bimota accelerates with enthusiasm up to 9000 rpm with very little vibration. Dressed in the traditional colour scheme of white, red and gold, the Concept is powered by a Ducati engine. While featuring the original hub steering developed by Bimota, the Tesi 3D Concept boasts several new developments and refinements. The front and rear swingarms utilise a trellis structure similar to the rear swingarm of the DB5 and DB6 series models. Also the front suspension has been radically redesigned and now uses a pull-rod mechanism with the hydraulic suspension located low beside the engine. Carbon body parts, forged alloy wheels and radial disc brakes are other features of the new Tesi 3D. The frame is light alloy.

The TVS Flame which was released earlier has been revised with added patches to compete with the other similary category of bikes. How ever the peak power has not been changed in the revised engine though maximum torque has dropped to 10Nm from previous 10.4Nm. Max torque and torque is produced lower in range, 7500rpm and 6000rpm respectively which were 8250rpm and 6250rpm. Consequently the new Flame is impressively quick, in fact 60kmph takes 6.5 seconds while 80kmph comes in 12.6 seconds. Roll on time has too increased, 30-70kmph roll on takes 65 seconds in third gear and 9.49 seconds in forth.Top speed however has dropped from 102.1kmph to 983kmph.On the ghasts the Flame feels cumbersome thought it feels well planned in straight line and scored high on high speed stability. Long sweeping curves are handled with elan but tighter corners are a concern some what. The revised gearing and power band rather than chassis are to blame.

Bimota is the only factory in the world allowed to place Ducati’s gem of a 1099cc V-Twin engine in its own chassis. Just to give you an idea of just how exclusive this motorcycle is, Bimota only plans to build 300 DB7s per year, which will be about 50% of the planned overall production in 2008. At the heart of the new Bimota DB7 is the Ducati 1098 Testastretta Evoluzione engine. Powerful, and light, it generates the kind of power that excites the heart with each twist of the throttle, yet its linear power delivery allows entering and exiting turns fast – a confidently controlled experience. The DB7 looks like no other Superbike, never to be mistaken for another brand. Powered by the incredible Ducati 1098 Testastretta Evoluzione engine, the DB7 enhances the performance of the motor with Bimota chassis concepts and exceptional lightweight. The new Bimota Superbike introduces a long list of innovations including a beautiful oval tube hybrid-trellis frame, distinct Bimota styling, a structural carbon fiber rear sub-frame and unrivalled component details. Bimota performance and innovation has never been more beautiful.

The VTX 1800 is the most powerful V-Twin cruiser and it is It is clear that the 1,795cc liquid-cooled 52° V-Twin sets a new standard in cruiser power plants. It has a big exhaust system, a large gas tank and the large cast aluminum wheels adds to the massive out look. This bike is in great shape, there is no collision damage evident. To look this good, it is obvious that this beauty has been garaged. This vehicle has a smooth shifting transmission. The fuel capacity is 4.8 gallons, electronic fuel injection system, 1800 CC 6 cylinder liquid cooled engine. The VTX1800 is an extremely powerful, smooth riding and an attractive beast. It can also be customized and has a small similarity to the American chopper. The twin exhaust system adds not only to the torque but to the style as well. The special edition is the lemon yellow which has a shinning glassy finish.

There are different kinds of motorbikes and each serve their purpose. The bikes are designed to meet the requirements like performance, speed, mileage and etc. They are designed based on the terrain conditions like mountain, sand, smooth roads. Based on the terrains their size, design, weight, tyres, engine, shock resistances differ. Scramblers are bikes which were designed to travel across rocky and mountain terrains. They also are used to travel across wet and sandy surfaces. They weigh much less and they have a good torque and initial pick up. They are used in performing stunts. They are widely used in dirt racing, the concentration is much on the tyres which do have studs to improve the grip so as the bike serves the purpose.

Honda one of the top motor company had introduced numerous sport devils. The famous models are interceptor and CBR versions. These CBR are sport bikes are classified mainly on the basis of the Horse power and CC. Though there are 1000CC bikes the bets one falls under the category of 660 CC. This bike looks giant and gives a daring appearance. The permormance of this bike hits the mark. Compared tp other sports versions in Honda this one has been recognised as a best creation. I am not a bike freek but i am interested in updating information on this bike so if any bike freek looks at this post might desire get one of the best. To talk about honda bikes, style is uncomparable and unique. Style added to power added to performance makes this CBR 660RR special. Dare to have one. . .
