Sport bike is bike which is specially designed for sports (mostly bike racing) and it can provide higher acceleration, high speed, superb braking, and it can cut corners with ease. All these features are much powerful than those in normal utility bikes but at the cost of higher fuel consumption and comfort of biker. There is not perfect reach to sports bikes history as far as their introduction is concern but Automobile
Company Honda first wrote ‘Honda Super bike’ on manual of one of their bike launch in 1959. According to bike specialist Kevin Cameron, Sport bike is vehicle that is specially designed to run on paved highways because it can give perfect steering control, higher acceleration, and smooth braking required for high speed
braking.

Sports bike has many uses and it provide all concerned features required for high speed racing. Before 1950’s there were no sports bikes but hint of capabilities of sport bike was given in later 1950’s. Actual evolution of sports bike started in 1969 after official launch of first sport bike “Honda CB750”. Then after industry of sports bike gone to another level and till date it is reaching new levels every day. It was the time when sport bike was made available for general public.

At the time and after few years of launch of Honda’s first sport bike, there were some problem in suspension and braking of sport bike which improved a great deal in and after 1970 when large inline fours power was included in sports bikes. After few years of that there were not many features which could distinguish sports bike from racing bike because both have almost same features. Introduction of naked bikes and street-fighter changed whole scenario of sport bike and they became more familiar for road racing.
